This is a live demonstration of intravenous (IV) cannulation.

These are a lot of the things i wish i knew before inserting my first needle.

This was my first video recorded in 2012! unfortunately I didn’t have all the usual set up so am using a full sterile set, when this is not needed.

Please focus on the technique rather than the specifics of Aseptic non touch technique that we all adhere to now.
