BUSINESS CASUAL SHOES: https://gentl.mn/2FhMPZ0

00:00 Introduction

00:37 So how do we get from suit, dress shirt, and tie to a very relaxed dress code with khakis and Polo shirts? Well, it all started with Aloha Fridays. This trend became quite popular in Hawaii and was eventually adopted on the mainland. Subsequently, people were familiar with it and wore it more often.

02:03 So what does business casual mean in a nutshell? Basically, it means no suit but also no jeans.

02:51 1. White-collar business casual – Bank, law firm, an accounting firm

The core piece in your wardrobe would be the dark navy blazer. Stick with just dark horn buttons. Stick with a single-breasted and notched lapel look for a very normal appearance.

You can also go with other kinds of sports coats that are patterned.

When it comes to dress shirts, you should invest in some oxford shirts. They have a nice 2-tone appearance to them which makes them more casual and perfectly suited for business casual.

When it comes to pants you can either wear chinos or khakis or dress pants in grey, light grey, mid-grey, not blue, especially if you have a navy blazer because it’s too close but not the same. Basically, you want to have a certain amount of contrast.

As far as accessories go, you can have a pocket square, you can go with a dressy watch or maybe with a naval strap to mix it up and make it more casual, depends on your specific office. When in doubt, always go a little more formal.

For shoes and boots, you can basically wear anything in the color brown, reddish-brown, or dark brown, maybe even tan.

Since you’re at the office, you should always bring a bag. A proper gentleman always carries a bag. It could be made of leather, of canvas, or a mix of the two but leave the backpack at home and only use it when you go hiking.

06:21 2. Service business casual or more relaxed office environments

If you have client contact, chances are you are required to wear a jacket, sportscoat, blazer, at all times. If you’re not, maybe you can get away with just wearing a dress shirt or a polo shirt. If you feel a sportcoat would be too formal, you can also try just to go with a vest because it’s dressier than just a dress shirt but less formal than a jacket.

For shirts, button-down collars are good as well as long-sleeved polo shirts. Neckties are entirely optional. At this level, denim or jeans are still not okay to wear, go with chinos or khakis.

During the colder months of the year, sweaters of all kinds are great, you can either have them with a tie or without. Alternatively, have a cardigan or a sweater vest. Simply an ideal look for this environment because it’s dressier than just having a shirt.

As far as shoes go, I personally would suggest you go with classic shoes such as Derbys, monk straps, loafers in brown because they work with everything and are just the perfect business look.

Of course, the bag you should have can be a little more relaxed so it can be canvas, could be more weathered. Of course, a vintage leather patina bag is always appropriate and looks phenomenal.

08:32 3. Startup Business casual

It’s always to your advantage to put your best foot forward and that means, dressing up a bit more.

Wear a polo shirt even if it’s short-sleeved. Rather than wearing shorts when it’s warm consider maybe a pair of seersucker pants. Instead of crocs or flip-flops, switch over to boat shoes, you can also go with driving mocs and a sockless look.

When it’s cold outside, you can’t just go to the office with just your blazer so ideal companions would be a trench coat in-between seasons. When it gets much colder, you can get something like a peacoat which is shorter but it covers your jacket and it’s very warm. If you want something lightweight that’s more fun, you can think about something like a quilted jacket.

The Minaret and Archaeological Remains of Jam, in Afghanistan

relationship No Comments »

The Minaret and Archaeological Remains of Jam, in Afghanistan, is on UNESCO’s List of World Heritage in Danger. A project supported by UNESCO’s Heritage Emergency Fund provided new information for conservation of the minaret using drones and 3-D technology. The 65m-tall Minaret of Jam is a graceful, soaring structure, dating back to the 12th century. Covered in elaborate brickwork with a blue tile inscription at the top, it is noteworthy for the quality of its architecture and decoration, which represent the culmination of an architectural and artistic tradition in this region. Its impact is heightened by its dramatic setting, a deep river valley between towering mountains in the heart of the Ghur province. Watch the video

Allocated steps of attire are clearly divided according to essential characteristics, but chronological boundaries are not sharp. The constant function of attire is presentation: to pick out or magnify a man and indicate his status. Constructive, aesthetic and sacred functions play different roles on different stages. Natural attire originated during primitive era, its elements were preserved in ethnographic suit. Adornments were made of available natural (plant and animal) materials, but artificial materials (ceramics, glass, textiles) were beginning to be used. Adornments mainly decorate the body, their forms correspond to its parts: head wreath, necklace, belt, bracelet. The joining between adornments made by wrapping, tying, stringing, piercing. Variegated colors were used, images of the natural world were reflected. Sacred and aesthetic functions were in unity. Heavy-metal attire has existed since the era of metal (Eneolith, Bronze Age) and during early Middle Ages. Heavy and numerous adornments of non-precious metal produced by forging and casting, fastened and kept draped clothes on the body uniting with it into a single structure. The attire of Finno-Ugric peoples fully represents this stage. Some things played the role of hard case (spiral and holder) or of supporting framework (head hoops), others cover cloth with metal layer (sewn and hanging plates, interwoven spirals). Attire stayed on pre-stylistic level, adornments from different regions are similar. With the increasing of complexity of
techniques first styles appeared (polychrome and carved styles, styles of champlevé enamel and of cloisonné incrustation). Constructive function and sacred protection were important. Metal details the best way perform the function of protective noise with jingling. III. Jewelry attire is typical for class society, for developed Middle Ages. Jewelry is made of precious materials in difficult jewelry techniques (cloisonne enamel, niello, filigree). Byzantine and Russian medieval attires are the examples. Jewelry items are linked together structurally and stylistically, their connection with clothing is typological. Silver bellshaped pendants and back head net complemented Russian compound headdress (“kichka”). Gold diadem in cloisonne enamel complemented band headdress. Constructive connection of jewelry and clothes became not very important, though sometimes was preserved. On the basis of fine and peculiar jewelry techniques original art styles and ornamental elements formed. Art images were able to reflect the symbols of concrete religions. Sacred and aesthetic functions are equally important. The accessory attire is characteristic to the New time and modernity. Adornments are made from the variety of materials and in every possible techniques, exist as other costume accessories, and even become not required. Items are linked stylistically and with color harmony. They complement the suit, can be replaced and changed, they are rather independent from the structure, style and typology of the suit. Jewelry correspond to the fashion and artistic trends of time, in most cases they do not have any semantics, except parting in sign suit related to specific events and subcultures. The main function is aesthetic. The attire is becoming more individual and formed by concrete person. The report is accompanied by examples of the hat and costume jewelery.

Rien n’a changé.

►”Relationship” Lyrics:

Verse 1:
You’re talkin’ to me
Like you already own me
Then you go and see your friends
And tell them that “he just a friend”
Then you say you’re lonely
You ask “whatcha doin’”
Tell me to come over
This bed is better when you’re in it.

Pre-Chorus 1:
Then we get to kissin’
Then we get to touchin’
Then we get to bumpin’ real fast
She had real fine assets
Then we get to laughin’
Then we get the passion
Then we get to talking real deep, like that
Like that

Chorus 1:
So tell me how this ain’t a relationship
I just wanna be the one you end up with
Tell me how this ain’t a relationship
I just wanna be the one you end up with

Verse 2:
You got me confused by the
Swing in your mood
First you wanna hold my hand
Then you say your over it
A few days have gone by
I’m tryin’ to get my heart right
Then you call me out the blue
And say baby I’m missin’ you

Pre-Chorus 2:
Then we get to kissin’
Then we get to touchin’
Then we get to bumpin’ real fast
She pull me right back
Then we get to laughin’
Then we get the passion
Then we get to talking real deep, like that

Chorus 2:
So tell me how this ain’t a relationship
I just wanna be the one you end up with
Tell me how this ain’t a relationship
I just wanna be the one you end up with

Post Chorus 1:
Tell me tell me how, tell me how
Tell me tell me how this ain’t a relationship
Oh tell me tell me how, tell me how
Tell me tell me how this ain’t a relationship
Tell me tell me how, tell me how
Tell me tell me how this ain’t a relationship
Oh tell me tell me how, tell me how
Tell me tell me how this ain’t a relationship

Pre-Chorus 3:
Then we get to kissin’
Then we get to touchin’
Then we get to bumpin’ real fast
Then we get to laughin’
Then we get the passion
Then we get to talking real deep, like that

Chorus 3:
So tell me how this ain’t a relationship
I just wanna be the one you end up with
Tell me how this ain’t a relationship
I just wanna be the one you end up with

Post Chorus 2:
Tell me tell me how, tell me how
